Product Description
Berbesta tablet contains Berberine that is a chemical found in several plants. Berberine has a known hypoglycemic effect and it substantially lowers the blood glucose level.
Berberine significantly decreases HbA1c levels in diabetic patients. It significantly improves overall glycemic parameters (HbA1c, FBG and PBG). Berberine decreases serum triglyceride and total cholesterol and enhances Insulin sensitivity significantly. Long-term berberine treatment may improve insulin secretion of the patients with consequent failure of oral hypoglycemic agents. Berberine works by enhancing glucose metabolism by stimulation of glycolysis.
