Use
Ticagrelor decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. This lowers the chance of heart attack or stroke. It is given to patients who have Angina, or who have suffered from a Major heart attack, to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, or even death.

Precaution
It should be used with caution or avoided in patients with Advanced Sinoauricular disease (sinoatrial block).
