Use
Insulin Glargine is used in the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. It is a long-acting insulin that starts to work several hours after injection and keeps working evenly for 24 hours.
Common Side Effect
Low blood sugar, Headache, Hunger, Weakness, Sweating, Irritability, Trouble concentrating, Rapid breathing, Fast heartbeat.
Precaution
Unlike some other longer-acting Insulins, Glargine must not be diluted or mixed with other insulin or solution in the same syringe.
