Use
Acetylcysteine is used for the treatment of paracetamol overdose/poisoning and It is also used to relieve chest congestion caused by thick or abnormal mucous secretion in patients with lung diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, emphysema.
Common Side Effect
Nausea, Vomiting, Cool and moist skin, Fever, Runny Nose, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Drowsiness.
Precaution
It is not recommended for use in patients having an history of Acute and severe episode of Asthma.
